Henne Kirkeby kro
Henne Kirkeby Kro is a Danish inn and gourmet restaurant that you can find in the small village Henne Kirkeby a few kilometers from the crashing waves of the North Sea.
Since February 2017, Henne Kirkeby Kro has had two stars in the Michelin guide, which makes Henne Kirkeby Kro worth a visit.
The inn’s history dates back to 1790, when it was originally built next to the main road between the popular bathing resorts by the North Sea and Varde. In 1981, chef Hans Beck Thomsen took over Henne Kirkeby Kro, and he thus became the third generation of the family to lead the popular inn.
Henne Kirkeby kro has since transformed into a gourmet restaurant, where quality became a central part of the concept. In 2001, Henne Kirkeby kro was named “Restaurant of the Year” by the Danish Dining Guide.
